Many of the families we serve include people with disabilities. We want this site to be comfortable and easy to use for everyone.

What we've done

Display options. Use the Display button at the top of every page to make text larger, switch to an easier-to-read font, turn on high contrast, or reduce motion. Your choices are remembered on this device.
Calm, predictable design. No pop-ups, auto-playing video, flashing content, or moving carousels. Navigation stays in the same place on every page.
Readable text. A large default text size, generous spacing, and the Atkinson Hyperlegible typeface, designed to improve legibility for readers with low vision.
Color contrast. Text and buttons are designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast guidelines.
Keyboard and screen reader friendly. A “Skip to main content” link, clear headings, visible focus outlines, labeled form fields, and descriptive image text.
Large touch targets. Buttons and links are sized to be easy to tap on phones and tablets.
Plain language. We aim to explain ABA and insurance in clear, straightforward terms.
