Many health insurance plans provide coverage for medically necessary Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In New Jersey, certain state-regulated health plans are required to provide autism-related benefits, including behavioral interventions based on the principles of ABA. Once required authorizations are obtained and scheduling is established, your child's individualized ABA program can begin.
What We May Need From You
Depending on your insurance plan and its requirements, we may request:
- Diagnostic documentation
A copy of your child's Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnostic evaluation or other documentation required by the health plan. - Insurance information
A copy of the front and back of your current insurance card. - Additional clinical documentation
Some insurance plans may require referrals, treatment orders, or other documentation before authorizing ABA services.
